If you are currently looking at mortgages, no doubt you’re starting to get just a little frustrated by exactly what is available and what is the best choice for you. At Mortgage Required this is what we do.

The great news is that the process is simple, quick and seamless, with us doing all the work after an initial chat and consultation. This leaves you to concentrate on everything else, confident in the knowledge that we will source the best deal for you and your individual circumstances.

Here is a snapshot of the mortgage process;

Step 1 - Contact Us for a Chat!

Contact us at our Maidenhead office 6 days a week, Monday to Saturday on 01628 507477. Alternatively, submit your enquiry online.

Step 2 - The Pre Qualification Stage

One of our experienced and qualified advisers will discuss the options open to you after first assessing, in detail, your own personal and financial circumstances. At this stage we’ll also advise you of any additional information/documentation we will require in order to carry out a thorough search of the market on your behalf.

Step 3 - Our Recommendations

Our adviser will present their recommendations to you, tailored to your specific needs. This will include details of all costs and any associated fees.

Step 4 - The Agreement in Principle

Once you’re happy, and not before, we’ll request an ‘Agreement in Principle’ from the chosen lender so that you the have the reassurance you need whilst you search for a new home. Once you have this you know that you should be approved for the mortgage you want, once you apply.

Step 5 - The Formal Mortgage Application

When you have a home under offer and you’re ready to proceed, Mortgage Required will submit the mortgage application. At this stage the lender will assess any supporting documentation requested (such as wage slips, bank statements, etc) and make any necessary arrangements for the property valuation / survey.

Step 6 - The Mortgage Offer

Once the mortgage lender is satisfied that the property offers suitable security (post valuation) and they are happy with the documentation provided, the formal mortgage offer will be issued. This confirms their willingness to lend. A copy of this will also be sent directly to your solicitor so that he/she can complete the conveyancing and exchange contracts for you and complete the purchase once in funds.

Step 7 - Other Matters

Now you have the reassurance that your mortgage is formally approved, your adviser will discuss with you your possible insurance needs and make any recommendations and arrangements for you.

Step 8 - Completion

When your solicitor has finalised the legal bits and pieces and the seller is also ready, you can look to arrange your actual completion date. The solicitor will then make the necessary arrangements to request the funds in time for completion.

To get the ball rolling, contact us on 01628 507477 for a chat with no obligation.
