Buyers willing to pay over 30% for excellent views

In certain areas, impressive views are one feature that buyers are willing to pay price premiums of more than 30 per cent.   

A recent study shows that properties in England that have a beautiful view ask for property prices of 28.1% more than similar properties in the same area where views are lacking.  

Property price premiums by region for great views:

  • North East: 34.6% increase
  • East Midlands: 33.2% increase
  • North West: 31.8% increase
  • Yorkshire and the Humber: 31.7% increase
  • South West: 31.5% increase
  • London: 19.1% increase

The estimated value of properties currently listed with excellent views sits at over £4.08 billion.
